  1. Judging from both design notebook posts, lime (day-glo) green must be either cheep or popular in the house rental business. I can imagine an entire pallet of the hideous stuff marked down to a bargain price. It’s a bit loud for my tastes.

    1. That thought has occurred to me as well. However, in Uruguay the price of paint varies by color — the more pigment, the more expensive the color. Very strange at first that you have to ask the price of every single color they might mix for you.

  2. The apartment part of the rental property on the Rambla (there are also cabins and the name is Paraiso, I think) was also once two colours, because there were two separate owners. Siblings, we were told. Eventually, their differences were settled or the buildings were sold or something, because the building was repainted all one colour.
