Its threat response consists of waving a plastic bottle around. Say what?

Our incredible vet. After charging me USD 85 for an operation that involved removing 5 centimeters of our cat’s intestine, maybe half market rate (in pesos; I gave her a USD 100 bill so she couldn’t try to give me change), then basically intensive care for several days, today we spent an hour outside so he could be in contact with the earth, and stimulated by chickens, kittens, barking dog next door, even squealing brakes of a garbage truck.
Not clear that he will survive. But this attention and care is so amazing.

Unusually cool today. Very few people on beach, but lots of surfers. Doing their best to catch shitty waves. I counted almost 30 in the water.

I’ve never seen a lineup of campers/motor homes like this before. From Montevideo and Treinta y Tres in Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, and the sole assault vehicle of course from Germany.
The older guy in the middle photo told me to expect many more tomorrow. Stay tuned….

Plastic, cardboard, bag [sic] have to be clean. In Spanish, that would be “tienen que estar limpio.” Actually, limpios. But never mind that: tinene?
If that doesn’t make it clear to you that it’s the greatest source of danger to humanity I don’t know what will.
