An inquisitive old fart with a camera

This odd cloud formation, which I’ve seen from time to time here on the coast (it is roughly parallel with the shoreline), is not produced by an airplane.

Thanks to the hysterical reaction to the coronahoax, there is no plane flying anywhere nearby (I have usedflightradar24.com in the past to ID a Lufthansa flight as the source of spraying, but chemtrails are extremely rare here compared to countries in the northern hemisphere).
Better than a farmers’ market: organic produce harvested on demand. A few meters away, blueberry picking.

Maguari stork (Ciconia maguari) and ducks

Its presence upsets the teros (Southern lapwing – Vanellus chilensis), but it clearly has no attention of going anywhere. They were hassling it when I arrived, and still an hour later.

Mescaline cactus and wall (my back yard).

Coming home from the dog walk, we arrive at the water to see it’s brown, with a thin strip of blue at the horizon.

Two kilometers further east the blue water is much closer.

The brown is silty water from the Rio de la Plata. Some days the water is chocolate brown, and some days it is ocean green. But it is never really blue, as it is further east.
