The sky was busy yesterday afternoon.
An inquisitive old fart with a camera

The sky was busy yesterday afternoon.

Just a nothing-special view of the ocean. Until you look closer…

..and see some surfers…

…and some more surfers…

…and some more surfers…

…and yet another one—or is it two?—surfers. This was after 5:30 in the evening; no doubt many had already left. The parking lot where I stopped was full.

On this very day a year ago, I did the same thing i did today: finished stacking firewood in the garage. This year the minimum for delivery is 3,500 kg, up from 3,000 last year. Yes, that’s a lot of wood.

Another similar to one I posted recently. I love that afternoon light. I was going to post a video of ants, but that will have to be tomorrow.

Though we’ve had Mac Minis for almost ten years, I only today discovered they have a slot for an SDXC memory card. I have some of those somewhere, I thought.
Yikes! 16 megabytes? That must be from our first digital camera 20 years ago. Each would hold exactly three photos now at 10 megapixels.
I was reminded of the 128 megabyte flash drive I ran across recently.
Not really sure why I hang on to these things.

A dozen eggs today, 65 pesos (USD 1.47) at our local mini-supermarket. The last I bought at another mini-supermarket they were 95, and at Tienda Inglesa (large supermarket) they’re 120 pesos.
Who knows?

I decided it would be a good idea to switch computers with my wife. Long story.
When she couldn’t log onto her Facebook account on the cloned machine, I decided to clone it to my old Mac Mini, which required Setup Assistant, which required a series of terminal commands, to see if that would help.
It might have. Depends on Facebook doing something, not that I’m holding my breath.
I don’t think I want to go through this again any time soon. Any of it.

Knives at the local butcher shop.

My knife after ten years.
