A long time ago I was an elementary school teacher and heard another teacher tell a student his (Halloween) spiderweb didn´t look much like a spider web. If I knew where she was, I would love to send her this picture.
I understand and would support that (as art teacher) wholeheartedly! I did not address this issue, but have also watched with fascination the nightly building of a similarly baffling web between the big tree (ugly, but Syd: shade is good!) in our backyard, and the monster hibiscus bush.
