  1. Not very impressive from a ground view. No wonder they built the Pan-American highway through it.

    1. Interesting to think how that functioned as concealment, how the animal figures served to attract attention, less than a hundred years ago, once “we” were able to see them from above, and how the technology implied reflects knowledge “we” have had for only ten years or so. And perhaps reflect orders of magnitude beyond our present understanding.

    2. In fact, the Pan-America highway was built over the Inca trade route which yes, does bisect one of the figures, further convincing me that the Inca/Nasca had nothing to do with the lines.
