I’m cleaning the casita and was glad to find in a bathroom drawer this large bag from Macro Mercado, because there’s a lot of crap in the casita that needs to go away and a big bag helps. Problem is, the bag, advertising its biodegradability, has already started to go away itself….
Yes, we have saved a lot of Macro Mercado bags only to discover they are indeed biodegradable. If you are going to use them a second or third time, you need to do it quite quickly. Just wish the ton of plastic that adorns the streets and beaches and small waterways was all as biodegradable.
Of course, this begs the question of whether degraded biodegradable ends up as invisible biohazard? I do not know the answer to that, but remain cautiously optimistic.
