Works for me. Makes good sense.
In Texas we called that a gap in the fence line, an easy to make gateway with the existing fencing with a simple loop, small at bottom, larger at top, connected to end end post, to secure the “post” at the open end of the gap. (Got that? :0)
This is that on steroids 😉
